I grew up in the 1960s era, in San Francisco, lived in the Bay Area during the 1970s, and now live in Roseville, California. The artists that have inspired me are Peter Max, Maxfield Parrish, Alphonse Mucha, Wassily Kandinsky, Daniel Marriem, Georgia O'Keeffe & Salvador Dali.
My ideas come from everything around me. I love patterns and nature. I enjoy creating paintings that people can get lost in. I strive to show movement or emotions, the energy of life, or my moods. I love combining colors to make them “pop” and am obsessed with painting details. Striving to combine all of these elements into my pieces is one of my goals, which pleases me.
While I consider myself a self-taught artist, I was lucky enough to strike gold with William L. Clark, my high school art teacher. I got lucky again and studied under Pat Abraham and also with Michael Mikolon.
